Casa Sonja — Seafront Villa

Overview

On the very seafront of Mesa del Mar (Tacoronte), a singular 1970s villa whose architecture evokes the style of César Manrique: white volumes, organic lines and open fireplaces fused with the volcanic rock. It was the first house built in the urbanisation, and its position cannot be repeated — before it lie only the coastal path to El Pris and the natural sea pool, with open, unbuildable views of almost 270 degrees over the wild coast, Mount Teide and Puerto de la Cruz. A sea-facing living room with fireplace, three bedrooms, two ocean terraces, a pool, barbecue and a closed garage. Houses like this are no longer built: they are inherited… or bought.
